Yes it was left to captain Gilling to end the evening with a flourish as he swooped in to finish the Sun Tea time crossword in style last night.
This dramatic success for the Railway's new crossword team followed the earlier success of an almost decent training session - I kid you not!!
Coach Rogers took over the reigns as Greaves is off frolicking somewhere and the decent turn out (some say around 16) were rewarded with a fun filled game of in stick in the mud only to be followed up with the brilliant hand ball game!!
With next years Germany tour on the horizon (in our tour operators words ''I'm working on it'') the prospect of us playing handball rather than football may be a very real possibility if we can repeat last nights form, just watch this space.
The return of Pogo to the fold (Apologies for the use of this dirty word) was an excellent addition to a good nights training, if he can reproduce those dribbling displays on a Saturday it will certainly give us all a rest for 5 minutes.
